On April 17th , 2024, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between The Institute of International Relations IDIS, Greece and The International Institute for Asian Studies, The Netherlands by their directors, Pr. Konstantinos Ifantis and Dr. Philippe Peycam. The Institute of International Relations IDIS and the International Institute for Asian Studies recognized officially the mutual benefits of fostering academic exchange and cooperation between the two institutions in order to further research and training on both sides. Among others, IDIS and IIAS agree to promote academic exchange and collaboration between the two institutions through programs involving: Exchange of faculty members and researchers; Exchange of relevant academic information, including research publications; Joint research activities, including seminars, conferences and symposia. Concurrently, the two parties agree to act as host for faculty or researchers on academic exchange from the partner institution.
The memorandum aims to contribute to the promotion of research on the field of East Asian and Chinese Studies.
