The Department of International and European Studies at Panteion University has announced the approval of the proposal for a joint postgraduate program with the Weatherhead East Asian Institute of Columbia University, titled “Global China”.
The proposal received the 7th highest score in the related evaluation by the Ministry of Education, as part of the initiative to establish international postgraduate programs in collaboration with leading universities abroad.
This new postgraduate program marks the culmination of a collaboration that began two years ago with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding at the Institute of International Relations (IDIS), within the framework of the Chinese Studies Program.
This success is the result of the prompt and enthusiastic response of our partners at Columbia University, and the unwavering support of the academic authorities — particularly that of the Rector, Professor Christina Koulouri.
The internationalization and outward orientation of the Greek university are being implemented in practice and formally consolidated within institutional frameworks.
