{"id":3014,"date":"2025-05-08T21:17:44","date_gmt":"2025-05-08T18:17:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/chinaprogram.gr\/?p=3014"},"modified":"2025-05-10T15:11:35","modified_gmt":"2025-05-10T12:11:35","slug":"approval-of-the-joint-postgraduate-program-global-china-with-columbia-university","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/chinaprogram.gr\/en\/approval-of-the-joint-postgraduate-program-global-china-with-columbia-university\/","title":{"rendered":"Approval of the Joint Postgraduate Program \u201cGlobal China\u201d with Columbia University"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The Department of International and European Studies at Panteion University has announced the approval of the proposal for a joint postgraduate program with the <strong>Weatherhead East Asian Institute of Columbia University<\/strong>, titled <strong>&#8220;Global China&#8221;<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The proposal received the <strong>7th highest score<\/strong> in the related evaluation by the Ministry of Education, as part of the initiative to establish international postgraduate programs in collaboration with leading universities abroad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This new postgraduate program marks the culmination of a collaboration that began two years ago with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding at the Institute of International Relations (IDIS), within the framework of the Chinese Studies Program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This success is the result of the prompt and enthusiastic response of our partners at Columbia University, and the unwavering support of the academic authorities \u2014 particularly that of the <strong>Rector, Professor Christina Koulouri<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The internationalization and outward orientation of the Greek university are being implemented in practice and formally consolidated within institutional frameworks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Department of International and European Studies at Panteion University has announced the approval of the proposal for a joint postgraduate program with the Weatherhead East Asian Institute of Columbia University, titled &#8220;Global China&#8221;.
